We’re a group of Tomb Raider fans on a mission to help sick and injured kids. You’ve heard of fund-raising marathons, walk-a-thons, fun runs, and such. We’re doing the same thing only with video games, and we need your help!
On October 25, 2014, we’ll be joining thousands of other Extra Life players for a 24-hour gaming marathon to benefit Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. When you donate through one of our team members, your monthly pledge or one-time donation goes directly to the children’s hospital that team member is supporting.
CMNH is a network of 170 hospitals located across North America and caring for patients from around the world. 62 children enter a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital for treatment every minute. Whether they suffer from common childhood afflictions like asthma and broken bones, or fight bigger challenges like birth defects, cancer, cystic fibrosis and HIV, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals provide comfort, treatment and hope to millions of kids and their families.
Last year, Extra Life raised more than 4 million dollars for these kids, but in 2014 our goals, just like the needs of the patients we serve, are much, much higher. We can’t do this without you.
HOW CAN YOU HELP? If you can join our team and play in the marathon, that would be awesome. If you can donate a few dollars, pounds, Euros, yen, or what have you, that’s wonderful too!
Donating online is safe and easy. Choose a team member from the Team Tomb Raider Community roster. Then click the blue «Support Me» button on that player’s page. To donate offline with a check or money order, please contact the team member for details.
If you’re interested in participating in Extra Life as a gamer, click the «Join Our Team» button above.
If you have any questions, just ask.
Your donation is tax-deductible and ALL PROCEEDS go to help kids. THANK YOU!
